analysis of indicators of publication activity, including in publications that are indexed by scientific-metric databases, preparation of proposals for the organization of relevant work in structural subdivisions and stimulation of publication activity of university scientists in rating journals;

ensuring that the university acquires property rights to objects of intellectual property law (drafting of license agreements, sale of intellectual property objects under licenses, etc.);

formation of databases of publications of Sumy State University representatives in publications that are indexed by scientometric databases (including highly rated ones), a list of authors who have publications in these publications (number of persons, Hirsch index of scientists), etc.;

accounting and analysis of rating and reporting indicators of the university as a whole and its structural subdivisions according to the direction of the department's work, preparation and compilation of reports and monitoring of the rating of institutes, faculties and departments;

organization of work on raising the scientific level of journals and their inclusion in scientific metric and reference databases, obtaining the status of a professional publication;

registration in the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and UkrINTEI of events organized or co-organized by the university and provision of appropriate reporting;

work to ensure the improvement of the scientific level of activities and the inclusion of their materials in scientific and metric databases.
